Orlando Business Broker Michael Shea & CPA Matt Bell of Harding Bell Tax on Buying and Selling a Business

April 25, 2020 by Michael Shea PA

Orlando’s Business Broker Michael Shea P.A. had some time to sit down with CPA Matt Bell of Harding Bell International to discuss the do’s and don’ts of buying and selling a business.

As a buyer one of the critical components of buying a business is the due diligence process and Mr. Bell goes into detail some common mistakes made by people buying a business in Orlando and Kissimmee. Mr. Bell goes into some of the non-balance sheet items specifically and the need for industry-specific and localized professional support during the transaction.

Matt Bell of Harding Bell Tax also goes into detail on some of the mistakes business owners make with regard to failing to prepare to sell their business in Orlando and Kissimmee and how failing to plan and prepare can impact taxes at the sale and the net dollar amount of proceeds post the transaction.
